Kindergarten Cave Painting

This may look like an ordinary kitchen counter…

but add some crumpled brown paper rock walls…

and a sheet…

and you’ve got yourself a cave!

We found the idea for our cave paintings in Susan Wise Bauer‘s Story of the World, vol. 1 activity guide. Perfect for our study of ancient art!

Use shades of black, brown, and red for an authentic effect.

The Kindergarten cave artist is quite proud of her work.
